Who is this for
Through this course, practitioners develop an understanding of how mental health challenges affect the whole human — mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and lived experience. This ensures that everyone working within our community is equipped to support clients with sensitivity, care, and appropriate boundaries, helping to protect both clients and practitioners alike.
Beyond qualified counsellors, this course is open to counsellors or wellbeing practitioners who feel they would benefit from a deeper understanding of mental health and its impact beyond symptoms alone. It is particularly suited to those who work closely with people and want to respond to emotional or trauma-related material in a more informed and contained way.
You might be:
- A massage therapist, yoga teacher, coach, or movement practitioner
- Working in wellbeing, holistic health, or body-based therapies
- Noticing that clients often share personal or emotional experiences
- Wanting to work more confidently with the nervous system and trauma-informed principles
