Who is this for
Building on the skills and self-awareness you developed at Level 2, this course introduces more advanced concepts and models, while helping you understand what it means to work within a professional counselling framework.
It’s nationally recognised and a required step before you can begin a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. By the end, you’ll feel more confident in your understanding of the counselling process – and more certain about whether this is the right path for you.

Course Overview
To join our Level 3 course, you need to have completed a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
You’ll also need to be open to self-reflection, group learning, and developing your emotional awareness. We’ll invite you to a short interview or chat before enrolling, so we can make sure the course is right for you.

After completing Level 3, you’ll be ready to apply for our Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – the next step in becoming a qualified counsellor.
Many students also find that the communication, empathy, and self-awareness skills they build at this level are useful in other areas of life and work, including teaching, healthcare, and pastoral roles.
