Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

If you’re curious about counselling or want to build stronger listening and communication skills, our Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills is the perfect place to start.

Who is this for

You don’t need any previous counselling training to join. This course is designed for beginners and open to anyone with an interest in supporting others and exploring personal development.

We do ask that you have a good level of spoken and written English, as you’ll need to complete written assignments and take part in group discussions. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to chat about whether this course is right for you.

Level 2 gives you a strong foundation in counselling skills and prepares you for the next stage of your training. After completing this course, you’ll be eligible to apply for our Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies.

The skills you learn are also useful in a wide range of roles – including education, social care, HR, and voluntary or pastoral work.
